  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

Do you know those videos from India, where a person climbs a train and then touches the high voltage track above the train?

I wanted to do something similar. I failed.

I didn't climb the train, I climbed an electric pole near railway station in the night.

Wanted to touch high voltage cord. I was around 8 meters above the ground.

Turned out, it was low voltage cord. I fell to the ground. Broke several bones including pelvis.
Now I can't walk for several weeks. Family is devasted.
I did not want to live. My gf left me, my depression was so severe, I felt alone in the crowd.
Now aim looking for new methods to ctb, but I do not recommend the method that I chose.

That sounds so horrible what you went through, I'm sorry that you had this awful experience. I have never heard of anyone trying to ctb this way before. I hope that you find relief from suffering in whatever you decide to do.

Aww man that's all bad, I'm so sorry. Not sure what to tell you but you're in my thoughts.
I hope you find someone more compassionate who actually loves you for however long you decide to stay in this life.

I've seen it somewhere on the internet, but that was accidental death.

That's how society is. When you need them they leave you at your worst. Hope you can get some N or SN and do it properly.

That is very bad to hear. I hope you can heal quickly and have no permanent injuries. I've failed suicide before, its a horrible feeling. I hope you can find peace soon.

Sorry it didn't work out for you. Hopefully you can find peace a different way. I once thought of electrical shock when I was a teenager but never went through with it. I'm sure I would have failed and either been worse or just alerted everyone I wanted to die.

That sounds like a verg nightmare experience. No one deserves to go through this. We should be allowed to leave with dignity but it is so hard for them to understand. It must be very heavy on you dealing with all the consequences that this attempt left. However, I do wish you can find some relief soon and also that you find ways that you can help yourself in whatever decisions you make.
