Discussion Hiding any trace of SS

If I do decide to CTB then I want to destroy ALL evidence I was on this site by

- Deleting emails
- Deleting socials (IG, Discord, etc)
- Factory reset
- Destroying my phone entirely

Is this not enough or is this good?

It seems good enough, although destroying your phone might be a bit overkill, as if you have a password on it, all the data on your phone will be encrypted given that you have not unlocked it. So setting a strong password and rebooting the phone will do the job too.

Whether or not they will have permission to do that would depend on where you live. And even if they do have the permission to do that, they will not be able to decrypt the files without the encryption keys.

I have no social media at all delrated twitter FB a long time ago.. never had insta or tiktok or discord or any of the mqny others this is the only site i use to converse with a world that underatands me i underatand it... im open with my partner about being here and she understands my reasons.. i couldnt deatroy my phone as it has a lot important stuff on it such as photos my diary app.. its locked and biometrics are in place but the access codes are putt away in a safe place for when the day arrives.. and im no longer around to worry.. i would probably delete SS but thats about it ..even then i have nothing to hide about how i feel ..i always stood by the my words ..

Destroying the phone is a bit much. To me that crosses the line of "someone wanting to protect their privacy in death" to "suspicious behavior what were you trying to hide" if that makes sense.

My whole life I have always recommended to everyone who would listen to just encrypt their devices' storage. Always. When there's no password it's as good as wiped. It's possible with android devices, it's certainly possible with PCs and different OSes from what the news tell me it should also be possible with IOS. There's absolutely no reason not to do it. Then the question how to store your passwords etc. becomes moot because somebody who gets ahold of your devices will never even get that far.

On top of that, use a VPN and then your internet activity is invisible from the outside too and you're basically anonymous for non-targeted gathering purposes. Also don't use google, discord and other social media. They're data krakens and have absolutely no issue with forking all your data over to whichever government agency just asks (If they wouldn't do that, they would not be allowed to operate).

you might wanna hire someone to do that professionally , go to the tor browser and go to torch and search for markets which offer hacking services they can to this for you VERY easily since you will give them access to your accounts anyway , they will ensure that everything will be wiped out after you ctb
