Hey guys, I am looking for anybody who's into any alternative subculture. Please state what you're into and what got you into it! I want to see if there's a community around in this site! The more the merrier so please comment below :3

I've been into jfashion for the longest time, I love researching about fashion history even though I am not going to school for it. I'm currently into egl fashion but I've dressed in jojifuku before. I quit due to the fashion having a very weird history. I feel connected in modest clothing and it helps me get in tune with my feminity.

I'm here to represent for the Emo & Punk Community

Growing up I was just always obsessed with the alternative looks of The Hardy Boys and emo bands. I was never really into the early bands like paramore, fallout boy, my chemical romance, and panic at the disco music wise. Still I had some songs I liked from all of them.

I'm mainly into and influenced by the early SoundCloud Emo Rap era. I've always liked rap more as a genre than band music so once I found emo rap i was hooked.

I try to keep my fashion taste a mix of the old 2000's look with a little of the new era thrown in.

I like dolphin shorts a lot for whatever reason~ idk~ I dress pretty modestly, I'd say~ :) but don't really have a fashion style that I know of yet~ >_<
jojifuku is sooo kyute! >w< definitely one of the best art styles imo! ^_^ altho, wearing it tho~ D: oh dear~ >_< I clearly love my pastels and being childish, but that's a bit too extreme even for me~ >_<

I just wear whatever and my favourite colors
(a lot of swampy earthy green, black, and brown)

or I would just consider what I wear to be tomboy fashion (maybe some stuff you could see in the Delia's catalogue and sometimes the cover of FRUiTS and "men's clothing" and work clothes)

I like wearing things that are nice but also practical and useful, things with a lot of pockets like cargo pants and it's a bonus if they are that swampy green color

oh also comfortable can't forget that

I am still sad that my overalls are no longer with me but I guess that is a sign to move on to coveralls

because I am very tall for a woman, I often have to shop in the mens department
that is why people look at me as if I have chosen the wrong department

I was a Gyaru in Highschool, I wish I could show photos because I actually think I looked good doing it. I miss it but the community is so toxic and I had to grow up and get a job and go to college so I couldn't maintain that gal lifestyle for obvious reasons.

Gym clothes or dress shirts/pants. Not much of an in-between with me. Never liked jeans or khakis. Or long-sleeved T-shirts or polos.
Costumes could be fun, though...

Jirai kei sometimes, I dont have many pieces yet unfortenately
Day to day (casual) I dress I'd say softcore/generally feminine.
I'd like to try sweet/hime lolita one day but its pretty expensive so I'm not sure ^^
Fairy kei and jojifuku seem nice as welll...maybe decora...I like simply too many haha.
Oh I forgot to add, "what got me in it" hmm...jirai kei has a tie to suicide, self harm, drugs, eating disorders and generally being mentally ill, so thats that, I should add, it's a lifestyle with a fashion side.
For me, jirai kei is like the perfect line in between "cute" and "elegant".

Saw my first "punk" when I was a whole 5 years old and it left an impression. Baggy, black clothes, studs, spikes, chains. I basically dress like I raided a Hot Topic in 2005, back when they had, y'know, actually good shit.

Aren't most punks against places like Hot Topic and generally promote thrifting and DIYing your clothes instead?

gothic lolita for life raaaahhhhhhhhhh
i cant afford actual lolita pieces but i have a friend (rarely see her lol) that actually has the money to buy some off lace market. i usually just thrift my clothes. my favorite is a long black lace skirt i've had since high school, but it's kind of sheer so i need to wear stockings underneath. i love frilly sleeves or really poofy ones like bishop sleeves.

i like putting together all black outfits even though it's usually in convenient for me to actually wear them outside. when i went to sinners (the micheal b jordan vampire movie) i told my sister we had to wear black because so that we can dress as vampires
