Hey guys. I've been lurking here since August of last year. I've seen many members, many of which you haven't seen pass along. I can finally feel that my time has come. I have boughten all of my supplies and I'm going via carbon monoxide in a tent in the woods near my house. I've written all my letters to my family and I'm going to start cleaning my room to make it easier for my roomates. I have some money I'd like to leave for my mom and my sister, both of which are struggling financially. If I withdrew all of my cash from my bank account and put it evenly in two separate envelopes and placed it on top of the suitcase amongst the letters, would the police sieze the money? I have roughly how much I'm giving each of them in the notes. I've read that police take the letters sometimes and don't give them back to the family, would they do the same with the cash? Does anybody have any ideas on how to get around this? I can't send it via venmo because my sister might be awake at the time I send it and I can't have her asking questions. I'm also going to pay my car off 3 months in advance so my sister can have her (focus ST, LOVE that car). All the repairs and scheduled maintenance has been done so she won't have to worry about extra costs for a long time. How do I make sure she gets the car? Would that be handled after my death?

It would better to send the money via mail to your family, cause it could happen that the police will not give it to them, cause nobody would know you have left money for them. And in some countries you have to pay taxes iy you inherit money. The same could be with the car, the could have to pay taxes. In my country it could be a few months to a year that your Heritages won´t be allowed to drive the car until the legacy is closed up.

I live in America. They always say NEVER send money via mail so I'm worried about doing that. It's not much but it's enough to have some fun with. Do you have any suggestions on which mail carrier is safest?

I haven't signed up for life insurance and I have no debt to my name. Credit score is perfect if that clears anything up too?

We don't have exactly that in America but I can set up a "bill" payment 2 single ones. And schedule it for when I want. However, idk what I'd tell them I'm paying off if I were to go directly in the store which is the only way it seems feasible. They'd see I was clearing out my bank account and probably get suspicious. Hmm
