Go to the train tracks at night wearing black and bringing along a black bag. Lay down on your back with your neck resting on one side of the tracks and your body on the outside of the tracks. Place a black bag over your head........wait for the train to come along an decapitate you by the neck (the black clothes and black bag over head is to minimize the risk of the train operater seeing you and possibly pulling the brakes)

I admit it would take serious balls to be able to lay still, when you could hear the train approaching, but I'm thinking if you drug yourself out with booze and pills beforehand then.........maybe it could work? Should be completely painfree as it will happen so fast.

Though it would work it seems a little messed up to potentially traumatize the train driver, and anyone else that comes upon the very mangled body. I get why people use this method when they live in places that are limited in technology and access to other tools, but if you have other ways it would be nice to not force others to murder you.

I really don't think this is a good idea. You can seriously mentally damage the people on the train as well as the driver. Plus if something goes wrong or there's panic, the people on board could be in danger. It's one thing finding a body, it's another thing seeing someone's head rolling on the ground with blood spurting every which way.

I wonder if there would be even a few seconds of brain activity after the event when you were aware of the horror?

No, very abrupt loss of blood pressure causes unconsciousness.

I have thought about that it's not nice to possibly traumatize the train operator, but I think it's a weird thought from those of us who want to CTB. No matter what method you choose you are gonna traumatize some people. It's inevitable..........

I agree with not traumatizing others, but that said I saw where another user on another thread suggested beating the anticipation of the on coming train by having your favorite music blasting in your head phones. Also with the bag over the head/booze/pills as OP suggested, you wouldn't see it coming.

Well in my case that wouldnt work........I have bad hyperacusis, so blating my ears with music would be really painful.

It's a good idea for people who don't suffer with that though(or deafness). I'd probably use ear plugs and maybe headphones without music instead.......if I were to go for that methosd

I think I would be too. But then again I'm scared of any method as of now (other then N maybe) so I must not be suffering enough to carry out ctb yet :/ I could envision myself doing something like this if suffering got too bad.

If you don't have any other options and brave enough then you can try, but in my opinion is a lot harder than take SN or N.

Isn't this how most people do the train method?

That said, sigh, the train method talk once again: please don't do it.

N is easier yes, but I would rather do this then SN. No way am I gonna go for SN. There are multiple accounts that it's very painful, so nope.

I don't think so. Most people seem to jump in front of it as it passes.

Why do you think SN is painful and why do you think it's even more painful than train?

There are multiple accounts of it being very painful on this site, Just browse the site for the accounts. I believe decapitation would be so fast. If anything it should only be a few seconds of pain.

My rule is to never subject my ctb to others so I can't jump of a building, jump in front of car or train. For me the only person I don't mind to find me is an emt.

Decapitation would mean no pain since the head would be detached I think? I'm not sure.

Why do you have no problem with an EMT finding you? You don't think it will be traumatizing?

Yeah I mean where would the pain even come from? Your neck while the head is spinning around? lol

I think it will be less traumatizing than a train driver, random civilian, hotel cleaner etc. But I only think that because I think they see death all the time anyway, the few I've known grew numb to it(edit: I mean death in general, not ctbs)

That's good news. I'd be a bit worried about that.

And the black clothes etc might mean the driver never sees you well enough to even realize he's killed anyone.

How fast would the train have to going to make sure this works?

It "would work" at a very slow speed. I would say 60+MPH minimum if you want painlessness

@RoseyBird Actually even with a guilotine, you are still conscious for about 30 seconds: source .

@Marktheghost There is a small voltage that runs through the train tracks, it's used by the train company to detect when there is something on the tracks and to track the train I think: source

Maybe your right. Personally I believe it will always traumatize a person to some degree finding someone who has ctb'd, no matter their method. I don't think it's a healthy profession being an emt. I think I also recall people in such a proffesion or the likes, are at higher risk of developing mental health issues themselves.

See, that would be a real issue :/ Never heard of such a thing though. I don't know if that's used in my country.

But also, think of the clean-up involved in this plan! There'd gotta be a dozen people cleaning up brain matter, train driver, people who were supposed to monitor the track, cops, people on the actual train etc etc. Comparing that to 1-3 EMT's....or even 1 hotel cleaner...I dunno.
It will always traumatize someone, it's just how much you can minimize it I guess?

You are probably right. But I think if we are desperate enough to die, we don't even consider these things. Thinking about it, this methos would require enomours desperation.

And the desperation would excuse the consequences. Still I will keep trying to stop people from doing it, for their own and the train driver's sake.

If it was such an easy method to kill yourself with there would be way more people doing this. I doubt there are tons of people lining up to do it this way.

I think it will be still a terrible sight to see but easier for a stranger who is a trained professional rather than a family member or friend or a random train driver just trying to get from place A to B.
