  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

OMG they put a barrier on the bridge I had my eye on.
When I tried to jump previously there was too much traffic and was caught there at 3am there's high surveillance.
Now a barrier. I'm hoping this isn't going to interfere and I could just jump over it. Any advice ?!

presumably a barrier that one just jump over wouldn't be much use so without like a photo it's going to be hard for anybody to assess whether it's still possible to jump there or not, i'd assume it's a pain in the ass.

If jumping is your method, could you find a high mountain, or something similar, to jump from instead?

I'm currently searching and can't find a place that is high enough I think I will have to travel

I can imagine that it must be so frustrating. Putting barriers up will not stop people from ctb as they will just find other ways and it is cruel trying to force people to live as well. I agree that it is probably best to try and look for somewhere else. Jumping sounds like a terrifying method to me and I envy those with the courage for it. I do think that if I was planning jumping I would try to find somewhere that is not monitored so there is less chance of being stopped. I wish you the best with what you are doing.

Exactly!! Thanks for the support! And that's definitely a better idea. I'm debating on a parking lot
