How long did you give it? It can take time, and yes, as you said, it is hard to make a connection in your locale. Even if you connect with someone, your time schedules have to match up, you need to build trust, etc. It can take time. You know, you can keep reposting, right? It's hard. It's probably one of the reasons most end up going alone.
