Hi guys, I wanted to ask about my SN. It's been quite a few months since I bought it and I kept it hidden. The this is, where I live it's a VERY high humidity, and my SN is in the small bottle, it's not sealed in a plastic bag(I include photos of it here). I don't know maybe there is a plastic bag INSIDE the bottle, I haven't checked because I'm scared to open the bottle Incase it will damage the SN. Although I'm not sure the bottle cap doesn't let air in, what are your thoughts on this from the photos? The thing is, when I don't touch for a while and then pull it out I can tell the salt has turned into rocks and I have to shake the bottle to break them into salt again. I don't know, I'm really worried if it's still ok to use? Or do I have to order another? And another thing I wanted to ask, it says "pure for analysis" on the bottle, what exactly does it mean? Is it pure enough to ctb? 99+%? Any help would be much appreciated thank you!❤

It is normal for a lot of salts to form clumps. When I was working in the lab I hit the closed containers on the table to get it pulverized again, no need to worry about that, it does not effect the quality.

The Bottle cap or the whole bottle looks like solid labware to me, so do not worry about humidity and o2 exposition as long as you keep it closed.

And about the "pure for analysis" thing: The label does look a bit cheaply made, but if it really is analysis-grade compound it is usually the best thing you can get. "For synthesis" is often a bit less pure, because you can purify your product in the end, but for analysis you want to have the most pure form you can get from the very start. I would guess (if your nano2 really is analysis grade) that it is at least (!) 98% pure. And you can ctb with even percentages like 90% or lower.

EDIT: Oh and I highly doubt the salt is in a plastic bag within the bottle. Usually it is simply in these sealed bottles. Maybe also check on the label if there is a protective atmosphere within, although I also doubt that with plain nano2. Open it when you wanna use it. But just to let you know, you can also open it and take some out to test it without compromising the stuff. To render the nano2 void you would need to let it sit around for a while without the lid on. Better just open it when you wanna use it and then do a quick blood test with it before actually consuming it!

I bought the same SN as you and another one which came in something like a ziplock bag. Both are still sealed and yet have turned to rock(s). I'm assuming it's normal. Sorry if that's unhelpful and you want something more definitive. It's clear to me that they will break up fine.
