I'm thinking on buying a tent and going to a comercial camp site, i am trying to decide between CO and Helium, filling the tent with any of them, sealing the tent with tape and then go to sleep, i could get balloon Helium (8m3 i heard is enough) pretty easy not sure with CO, i ve heard about charcoal and stuff like that but i am guessing that with a helium tank i would get less attention if the camping is kind of crowded , i am pretty unsure if this is a viable method or if its doomet to fail, any thoughts advice would be really appriciated

I don't think you have access to search yet but stay away from helium. Theres no guarantee of purity.

Nitrogen is best. It won't trigger SI since the air we breathe is ~77% nitro.

CO in a tent is fine but I think charcoal can be tough because it will get hot and smokey before it becomes lethal assuming you have the right type of briquettes. There are some who have been successful with this though. Maybe they fell asleep in the process.

CO created by some kind of generator inside a closed tent is a better option if you have the funds for one.

Thanks for the reply, yes i was just researching that, i found a butane/Propane gas heater for 20+ usd and the tent for another 30 usd it says 230 gms should be enough for 3 days intense use while camping so i am guessing it should be enough

I don't have enough experience with propane. The internet mentions that minimal CO is produced as long as there's proper combustion. I'd be afraid to catch fire though. Sounds risky. I'd personally stick with an electric generator. (Not saying you're wrong)

Conrad Roy used an electric generator.

Isn't there a chance of having muscle spasms while unconscious and ruining the tent? If not, can you provide a guide to this method?
