Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

So I have my SN and almost had my antiemetic but since it wasn't prescribed by my primary doc the pharmacist turned it down so I have to go through my primary doc now. I cannot mess this up so what's the best explanation I could give to receive a good AE?

What I have so far is "I've been getting migraines recently from stress that are making me nauseas"

Please help me if you can I feel like this might be my last choice to get an AE since the first one fell through.

Wow, that sucks. Take the prescription to a different pharmacy.

Stress that you've tried multiple OTC AEs [research and make sure you pick ones that have different active ingredients] and they've failed. Tell them you can't keep food or water down.

A member posted a screenshot of an explanation they used to get some from an email. It was along the lines of, "My husband used this (AE) some time ago. I tried it once and found it effective." Can't find the thread again unfortunately. Being upfront about what you want might work, but is not guaranteed to of course.

What you need to say differs from doctor to doctor. Some doctors will practically let you write your own script and others will very consciously avoid being led by you. If you make suggestions they will be suspicious. Your safest bet would be to actually make yourself sick and then exaggerate the duration of your nausea. If there's a walk-in urgent care clinic that might be an alternative if your PCP doesn't pan out, just go in a little pale and say you've been vomiting for days.

As someone who suffers from chronic daily migraine and have been prescribed AEs before just tell them everytime you're having a migraine the nausea is exacerbated from the throbbing pain, any noise, bright light, or even simply walking. And you're vomiting which can make it hard to keep migraine medicine down or drink water. Also mention the nausea is making it hard to sleep and rest off the migraine. Good luck.
