Hay ppl. I am a suicidal person, and so is my spouse. It's difficult to find proper info about this stuff, so let me know what you think of my idea.
Big plastic bin laying on it's side, 2 neck holes in the lid. I seal the holes with thick pull string trash bags. That way we can stick our heads in, pull the bag tight around our throats, and not allow fresh air in. I'll seal the tub with some hot glue to keep as much air out as possible. I will attach a thicker tube to a helium tank. In the tub, I want to put one way air valves to allow air out of the tub. This way, our lungs won't overfill and explode. Drowning in our own blood doesn't sound great, so I'd like to avoid it. I want to design it so if one of us fails for some reason, you can wake up and plug the next helium tank in to die.
Do you think this set up will work? Should I make us each our own bin instead of a double chaimber?(though this would be nice so we can talk and laugh while we die) What kind of helium is best or what can you suggest to improve the design?
I don't know how true it is that they put too much oxygen in helium tanks to kill you anymore, but I figure if we pass out, I'm sure our own carbon monoxide will kill us eventually.
I know burning eyes, severe headache, panic, can be symptoms before you pass out. Any other huge symptoms I should expect before we fall unconscious?
I've had to euthanize my own suffering animals at home in a similar method, so I feel like it only fitting that I should die the same way.
Thanks y'all.
