Help Height for jumping?

Is it any different depending on the material the ground is made from??

You want a minimum of 100 feet to jump. Most people here recommend 250+, but you're not likely to survive anything above 100/150 feet. Concrete is usually preferred but when you're jumping from such a big height, whatever is below you will essentially be concrete because you're hitting it with such velocity.
