Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Do you think you'll be scared and call ER if you get a heart attack? Or will you happily wait for death to come?

I've never had a heart attack, but I once had acute appendicitis. Would have died within a few hours, but the pain was absolutely unbearable (constantly throwing up blood, etc.) and I ended up calling an ambulance and being saved. I've been somewhat suicidal my whole adult life so I did wonder about this. It's a very different thing when it is happening, and in any case it's preferable to go on one's own terms.

You never know until you experience it.
Our survival instinct can kick in pretty quick. Sometimes it's hard to resist this thing.
I wish I had enough courage to face the death.

Ive already had bad chest pains, related to my chronic disease but i have no intention of being carted off by ambulance in the setting of a heart attack. Needless to say the state of the NHS, theres a reasonable chance i will die even if i called the emergency due to delays.

Heart attack is a discomfort can feel like uncomfortable pressure, squeezing, fullness, or pain, it can last for more than 20 minutes and you can't be happy so it is not quick and when it happens you don't know what it is so obviously you gonna call the hospital!

I probably wouldn't call--I'd probably then still have time to start the Nitrogen process

If I knew for certain that waiting would lead to me returning to the ideal state of nonexistence then of course I would wait. Those who died in such a way and managed to escape from all future suffering and torment without having to find a way to leave themselves in this hellish world where suicide is so unnecessarily difficult were fortunate to me.

Probably, yeah. The pain from a heart attack is supposed to be like a knife being twisted into your chest. Survival instinct and animal fear would prompt me to seek help.

My first gallstone attack, I thought was a heart attack- I'd never experienced pain like it. I didn't call for an ambulance because I was ready to die. After a few more attacks- I got the hint that it wouldn't kill me- just make me suffer intensely- so- I went to the doctors.

"About 12 percent of people who have a heart attack will die from it."

Top Google result. I try to take care of my health because dying slowly from not doing so is much worse than ctb as a fit person. I don't want to watch my quality of life decrease from illness
