Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Hi all, I won't go into too much detail for this post but lately my mental health is spiraling out of control, and as the days go on, I feel more and more that it is a necessity for me to have a method ready to go just in case shit hits the fan. I haven't decided on one yet, nor have I fully decided if preparing one is what I'm actually going to do. While I have struggled painfully all of my life, I have never seriously attempted to ctb, or procured a method, so doing so would be a huge change for me, at least I assume it would be.

My question is: For those who have one prepared, how has it affected you mentally? Did it catapult you into a different, darker headspace like I imagine it would, or have things been mostly the same? I think I might be uncomfortable having the materials laying around and it would certainly be counterproductive to my recovery attempts, but what I fear more is the day where I need out and I have to spend time scrambling for a method that may not even work. Cheers.

I pretty much have mine all planned out, and yeah, it's pretty much what you imagine, lol. While it has put me at ease a lot of the time, during my more miserable nights, it has also pretty much squandered any and all chances of revovery I may have had. That's fine though, since I didn't really plan on recovering anyway.

My advice, don't properly prepare a method until you're absolutely sure you don't want recovery. If you're still tryna work your way through, it might not be wise to start prep work. That's just my opinion though.
