Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

My parents politicized me. They talked politics at the kitchen table and my dad read the most popular yellow press newspaper. They agitated against migrants. They said that many talking points were prohibited in our society. And they also had pretty stupid takes on Germany's history.

I adapted some takes. I never rebelled against my parents. I became a Christian conservative. To my shame: there was a youth election at my school. In Germany you have two votes. The first vote goes to a local politician as representative for Berlin. And the second vote goes to a party. And no joke I gave one vote (the first) to an AfD candidate. Shame on me. This is equivalent to Front National, Trump, UKIP. I am not sure how old I was. I already had a guilty conscience when I was this young about it. Now I consider myself to be pretty stupid for it. It must have been prior to the refugee crisis and mainly anti-Euro sentiments were shared in the AfD. I confessed my vote to friends recently.

They know my parents were garbage as fuck and abused the shit out of me. I think there was a time in my adolescence I was an edgelord troll who also did some racist shit. I wanted to provoke other people. It was really pathetic.

My dad now is a fan of the AfD. My mom instead is a Socialdemocrat. I think prior to that her whole life she voted Christian democrats. Maybe because she knows I will be dependent on welfare for the rest of my life. Something my dad rejects to accept in his world view.

In some sense the politics of my dad shaped me because I realized I don't want to become such a cynical and ignorant asshole (on politics) like him.

The same really- in the way that I don't want to hold their views on some things.
