I tried it yesterday, but I think I took too much and I was basically knocked out, but I slept better than usual and I think it did have a positive effect, although I'm not too sure. I had enough agency today to call for a meeting with a therapist, so I'm not sure if that's related or not, but I'm happy. I just don't know why it's so hard. I've tried so hard and for so long to find a therapist, but my body just wouldn't let me for some reason lol.

I hope things change for the better. What are your experiences on ketamine?

Ket was probably my favorite experience on a drug. I felt.. GOOD and at PEACE... For the first time in a long time. It is actually used for treatment resistant depression in some countries. I'm really glad you had a good experience with it.

I am supposed to take it weekly for migraine headaches and PTSD. It is so relaxing. Like others have said, I also get the best sleep on the planet when I take it in the evenings.

I wish they would let me dose a couple times a week, instead of once a week, but I will take what I can get. It is the ONLY controlled substance I feel like if I wasn't careful I could get hooked on it and fall off the cliff pretty quickly. It is THAT pleasant for me -- and no bad after effects. Just a good night's sleep and my headache is dulled significantly for a few days.

I took it recreationally a few years ago. It made me feel nothing, but I still cared about stuff. I might get prescribed it soon.

i haven't but one of my ex's used it for treatment resistant depression and it wasn't working. i knew people who did it recreationally, and they quickly got hooked, whether they know it or not. I have a friend rn who is using it on her own, a light dose for depression and anxiety. idk where she bought it, it might have been the dw but so far she likes it.

I used to self medicate back in the day 2008 ish , id buy 7 gs at a time from som winter etvwebsite forum , called TOPIX , and every day before bed a lil bump and get lost talking to internet / twitter friends but some times I'd go overboard and one time I took tramadol pain killers but like 6 of them and did a few to big of a lines of ketamine and nearly died ! Glad I didnt die then as I was sole carer of my son and he would if found me

But yes afterwords doing the small daily bumps my mental health improved and was able to function

Later as the years go on I see study's coming out about ketamine therapy and things like that , it's like a lo reset button on the brain , acid , and Dmt all did very similar in that regard but Dmt is no joke and must be respected

I have been on ketamine before for treatment resistant depression. I felt good for a while but I'm back to depression now.

Ket is IV in hospital, but I don't have that, so I snort it. It used to give me a nice day off or two when I first had it. I thought I had an answer, then it faded. I was off sick, and thought I could return to work. Unfortunately, it gave me just a day or two. It has also given me psychosis (don't believe everything you believe on drugs....took me years to realise that). Now, I use it to escape (briefly) my mind. It can also help me function a little.

Whenever I take it, it solidifies for me how much I want to CTB, and how it is the logical choice for me. The rest of the time, I'm a tortured mess. I will probably use it as part of going through with CTB, if I ever get the courage/fade the guilt.

I keep it for emergencies and escape reasons. I am not an addict. I can have a bag for a week or two or five. Addiction to it is dangerous to the bladder.

It is a shame we don't know safe daily amounts. I have occassional line or two, but I have read of peoole taking 4 grams a day. Don't do that!

I might become an addict to benzos, but just to escape my daily state...I think some people have an addiction switch in brain. I am addicted to in the past shopping, and when I am high, I love yoghurt. I don't want to judge addicts. If my brain had that switch, I'd be one. And I know Im happier on crack, I just avoid it.
DMT pipe/smoke is really short. My recent trip was no fun, but then a whole day off depression. Sigh. DMT is short, so less full on than ayahuasca.
