The quantum suicide experiment more or less theorized that someone could prove that "many worlds" hypothesis of quantum physics is reality by attaching a 'universe splitter' to a gun that fires in one universe while misfiring in another parallel universe as firing is dependent on the wave state of a quantum particle. If "many worlds" is correct everytime you pulled the trigger you would die instantly in the universe where the wave function caused the gun to fire, so only exist to observe the quantum wave function in the other state. Even though this is seemingly a 50/50 probability when firing the gun at inanimate objects you could fire the gun at your brainstem 1000s or even millions of time getting the same unlikely result over and over again... surviving countless rounds of quantum Russian roulette from your perspective.
