Help Hanging Setup

So I'm back home and this is my hanging setup. I just want to know 100% that this won't fail. Is there any possibility something could go wrong here? I'll be closing the door when I hang myself. (Yes I know I'm being a lil extra with the tape lol)

Will the door knob be enough to hold your weight? Also when you do put weight on your noose, the rope may slide on top of the door So that the rope is perpendicular to the knob.
Im assuming you're doing partial hanging?

Yeah sure, I'm using the belt on the bottom and slipknot on the outside

I believe it will be. I'm pretty skinny and it doesn't feel like it's gonna fall off or anything. And yeah, I'm pretty worried about the rope sliding or breaking. I'm doing partial hanging, but if SI keeps getting to me I'm just gonna say fuck it and do full suspension if I can find a place to do it

Yes I am lol, I'm REALLY don't wanna fail I figure if one fails then hopefully the other will work, and if they both fail, then fuck I'm screwed

Hello, If I was you I would pick a more solid anchor because a doornob could snap off and you dont want to be brain damaged. I remember seeing a kid in the ICU who survived a hanging and it will never leave me.

What would you suggest as an anchor? I tried looking for trees and everything but most of the good ones are where people can easily find me. I don't think this doorknob would break off 'cause it feels pretty sturdy, but I'm no expert on this & you may be right. Surviving this would be the worst thing that could happen to me.

Your door looks like a hollow door with wood veneer it is not solid wood it could have cardboard inside it like most hollow doors and there is a probability the doorknob could come flying off this is why I am warning you against this. I am not doing hanging as a ctb I am doing carbon monoxide in a car. I know just as much as you about what to use as an anchor.

Thanks for telling me because I haven't really thought about this that much, I was thinking about doing it on a metal bar in my closet but it seems way too flimsy. I might be able to do it on the shower curtain pole but I'm scared that that will break off too. I'm so stuck, I don't know what to do...

I am in a similar situation in that I am looking for a secluded spot to do the carbon monoxide in car method. I am looking for a spot to find so that I can be certain nobody will "save me."

I sure hope you're right I've been placing it above and at the top of my neck each time because it hurts to put it at the bottom. The knot of the rope is usually at the back of my head, slightly off to the left, and the belt buckle is at the left of my neck. Much of the time I just get the exploding head feeling, but I'll get this weird ass tingly feeling all over my body sometimes that I think is a sign I compressed the carotid artery. I put the rope knot in the front of my neck once and my entire body had convulsions, so I might practice there more too. We shall see and I shall not give up

Yea I wouldn't mind a ctb partner tbh it makes things easier. Someone on here from Italy I was talking to said the same thing about ctb together. Such a shame as I would not mind a ctb partner if I was confident they were 100% ready to go like me.

In Japan I think I read that they sometimes actually ctb by carbon monoxide in groups in a car. Yea a handgun for me would be the golden ticket to ctb for me.

2. A good anchor, a must. door knob MIGHT not do.. do you have ceiling anchor points?

If you have researched the carbon monoxide method really hard it is more or less as good as Nembutal. Dr Jack Kevorkian used carbon monoxide to euthanize some of his patients. If you have a carbon monoxide meter and you can generate carbon monoxide to a level of 12000 ppm once you get in the enclosed space you will be unconscious within 3 breaths and death within 3 minutes.

The only thing that can go wrong is if someone finds you or the door knob breaks/ rope slips off. Have you tested it out with your hand using as much pressure as you can pulling down?

Unfortunately I don't have any ceiling anchor points Someone messaged me about getting a pull-up bar and I'm considering it, although I can't get the ones that screw into your wall because I live in an on-campus apartment and people come in at random times, so I'd have to get something like this -HAKENO New Pull Up Bar Doorway Chin up Bar No Screw Installation Adjustable Width Locking Mechanism Exercise Fitness Workout Bar Amazon product ASIN B0831QBK3PI have looked through most of the hanging thread so I know a lot about the carotid arteries, I guess I just have to work on overcoming SI and finding my perfect spot

If you are saved within the three minutes I think you could have brain damage.
