Hanging ideation

Hanging has always been my method of choice. Well until I found this forum and learned about SN (as a lurker). I had enough foresight to realise it would soon start to become unavailable so I managed to get some quite easily several months ago. It's put away for the rainiest of days.
Mostly though, I think a lot about hanging. It's been a constant thought for about twenty years.
I've had an on-off relationship for about 10 months and the guy is making me crazy. He lives in an old house with wooden beams in the kitchen. A big hook is securely fixed to one of them. Every time I go into the kitchen I stare at it and think how I'd love to hang off it and die while the stupid bastard is fast asleep snoring upstairs. And how distraught he'd be, maybe even as distraught as he makes me.

Hanging will likely be my method, even know it is not my preferred choice. It is the most easily accessible method for me, so it is the one I think about the most. Whatever happens, I wish you the best.

hanging is not my method but I don't mind it. I watched some hanging CTB videos and I thought the method is peaceful. I would probably go to a forest to do it

Thanks. You're probably right. I can't ctb though anyway at the moment, I have too many responsibilities to others. It's just ideation, a lingering one.

Trust me, when the time is right, "responsibilities" are no more.

You see no other way forward, thus you just do it (or try, as I say whilst laying here.)

the gore website suicidal videos consist of very few methods: hanging, jumping from a building, jumping into traffic/truck, and setting self on FIRE!!!!!!!!!! that is why I thought hanging is peaceful

I don't know if you're joking or not but for anyone who's taking it seriously...you can't hang in full suspension below your Adam's apple because the rope will always slide up your neck to just under your jaw due to your body weight and gravity.

Oddly enough I've found myself tying nooses the last few nights, even though I'm not currently actively suicidal. It's just one of three potential methods for me one day, along with SN and jumping.

Normally the method is a necessary evil and being dead is the aim. When the method becomes too dominant, when the method is the aim and being dead is an undesired side-effect you may be on the wrong way.

I have a hanging fetish and I was hanged non lethally many times but this is not the reason why I want to die. You can only have such a fetish if you are alive. Of course this fetish makes easier to commit suicide for other reasons, in my case to avoid old age.

No, the fear of failure is what holds me back. I wish more than anything I could exit this world peacefully. It hurts me that ctb is so difficult.

Well, if it's simply a fetish why would it be "the wrong way"? Not feeling suicidal anymore but just fascinated with say hanging isn't "wrong".
