I can pass out quite consistently in 6-7 seconds, with an anchor around 1.5m high, and leaning forward with my knees on the ground, while keeping my body from knees to head approximately straight.

Once I'm passed out however, the rope (which is tense) pulls me back. So I find myself below the anchor, without enough pressure, and I wake up.

For people who are squatting and putting downward pressure, there are no problems I think (because loss of consciousness and muscle tone has you putting even more downward pressure).

However, how are people leaning forward continuing to lean forward and pressure their neck after passing out?

An idea I had was to kneel on a ~50cm object, and try to fall from it as I lose consciousness. Any other idea, or any "official" solution? The wiki wasn't very clear why leaning forward is supposed to work until death (especially when already in kneeling position)

Yes, I saw him. But iirc, he throws his legs in front of him, and apply vertical pressure (vertical pressure does nothing for me, currently, or at least leaning forward is 10x easier)

You can see it here (no problem with change in body position once unconscious though):

Do you have any info on if he managed to die, looked like it got aborted (video might've been sped up?). That choice of T-shirt is so fucking based, RIP if he died.

Edit: apparently the death was confirmed, can't have been just the one or two minutes of partial with EMTs pulling up right afterwards alone, right?

The scene of the police men lifting him was heartbreaking. I feel sorry for them.
Wow I have to confess, I somehow never watched the video till the end (watched it twice, stopped as soon as his body stopped moving).

It's a necessary step that someone finds your body, isn't it? My take on this would rather be that policemen and firemen are the most used to dealing with these situations.

But yeah, overall, convulsions seem to not have been an issue. Which is cool.
i wonder if it was painless

Ah it's interesting, after watching the videos again and experimenting another time, it seems I actually don't make myself pass out directly.

Around the moment my vision completely fades, it seems I briefly elevate my head, take one small breath, and only then I ram into a wall next to me.

It seems to be completely the effect in this video: How the choking game kills (the blood rushes to the brain and it is actually this that kickstarts the unconsciousness, not the lack of blood)

It's a time lapse, the video is a short clip every 20 seconds. Apparently it took half an hour for the police and EMTs to be called and then arrive.

What length of rope do people use? (Between the anchor and the neck)

When leaning forward, I have maybe one meter between the anchor and my neck, maybe I should try to reduce it to avoid moving too much
