So I've got a noose tied on one end of my rope, but the other end has an eye splice like this, and I wanted to know if this might complicate the hanging process. I feel like it wouldn't, I could just loop the noose through the eye after securing it to some weight-bearing bar, but i just wanted to confirm.

Also, for the sake of curiosity, would wearing some kind of weight vest/adding extra weight while hanging make it go by quicker? Either suspension or drop hanging.

Thanks :)

An eye should not complicate the hanging process, I think you will be okay. The eye can make setting up a little easier since a rope slotted through an eye tends to tighten more freely than one tied with a knot.

cool :) and what about adding extra weight? would that speed up the process or would that be unnecessary?
