Had to buy SN because it is getting harder to find and didn't want to lose the opportunity

I am new here. Thank you for letting me join your community. I have had mental illness for 30 years and physical problems for a few years.

I originally was going to wait to buy SN but is getting harder and harder to find. I figure it is better to have than not to have. I kind of have mixed feelings about it but I don't plan on using it anytime soon. Would someone mind PM'ing me the source of IC in case I need it?

I wish I could tell you my source, but they stopped selling SN a few weeks after I received it. I think all the publicity is making it harder and harder for individuals, rather than businesses or research labs, to order the chemical, even though there are uses for it other than suicide. Unfortunately, most suicide-prevention efforts are focused on restricting means, rather than mitigating the problems that lead to suicide in the first place.

Thanks for your reply. That's why I ordered it. I felt the consequences of not ordering it were worse than knowing I had it if necessary. As I said, people mention IC as a source and I would greatly appreciate someone PM'ing me what that is.

Basically, I was really scared at the idea of having no reasonable way to end if necessary. I can't live like that. The irony is I think it will make me want to live more knowing I have it available. Yet this society in its attempts to prevent it forces me to take steps and be that much closer.

Another question I have is how long SN is good for if unopened and stored?

I bought it a year ago, even though I wasn't planning on doing it at the time, knowing I had an exit strategy if things got even worse made me feel a bit better. I know mine is good because at the time the very same one I bought was reported to have used in at least one case that resulted in death. I am glad I did because things actually got worse eventually, and I'm almost ready to go.

I'd also like to PM someone (once able) if possible for the IC source - I've exhausted about the first 20 pages of Google on every term I could think of for a UK source. I understand if people are wary though as I'm still so new and this forum has had more negative exposure recently.

I find it equally sad and frustrating that governments are more concerned with blocking access to peaceful means rather than funding mental health services/raising standards of living etc to reduce the causes of suicide.

Atleast have 15 messages points in your profile. You can gain by replying to threads and reacting. So you can go to offtopic section and wait. I think the profile also need a maturity of 24 hours. For me, I waited for atleast 3 days to get DM available.
