  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

I have been lonely lately, last night I had a dream where I was hanging out with a friend I haven't talked to in about 2 years, who used to be my best friend, I got sad when I woke up and remembered my current situation.
Technically we never stopped being friends, I just isolated myself and she eventually gave up on trying to get me to hangout. She'd probably be sad if she knew I only got worse since then, so it's probably for the best to not reach out.
I should probably figure out how to stop remembering dreams since depressing ones like this one are getting more common, maybe I could set alarms to stop me getting to REM or something?

I know that feeling. I've been isolated for a long time too. I've been trying to recover by myself, step by step. Reading and watching new things instead of finding refuge in the same stuff over and over. Also mindfulness, trying to dispel or confront negative thoughts.

Since then, I've been remembering my dreams more often, sometimes 3 or 4 a night, and most of them have old friends and acquantances as characters. I think my inconscious get their faces because I haven't made new connections in a looooong time. Maybe it's trying to tell me I need to go out there more often, not necessarily to reconnect with old friendships (Those are already dead), but are a symbol of longing for connection.

I wish I could give you advice about dreaming, I hate those depressing dreams too, but don't sacrifice your sleeping time. We all need it.
