Help Gun shot suicide?

Hi everyone, new member here. Basically to cut to the chase.

How badly would a head shot hurt? I'm guessing it would be instant to the point where pain receptors don't have time to react? I need your help because, this would be my preferred method of going out next to hanging or maybe an exit bag. Any help would be great in regards to how to get a gun in the U.K. without any red flags going off. Thank you.

There is a gun megathread talking about this already but aim for the brain stem. According to some gun experts here death will be pretty much be instant/painless if the bullet hits it. Tired horse knows a lot more about guns and where to aim etc than I do. Hit him up if you have questions.
