Is pissing/crapping your pants inevitable after death? Or can it be avoided with fasting?

Make sure you go before you... go. -_-

Like going to the bathroom before a movie, so you don't have to leave in the middle.

On a serious note: I have no idea. Hopefully someone medically trained will answer this thread.

Muscles loosen upon death, so it would not be uncommon for a corpse to void itself of urine or feces. It's probably unavoidable, but make sure to take care of business before checking out, and all should be well.

A 24 hour fast probably helps, but pretty sure it's inevitable.

I'm pretty certain it's an inevitability, but you can probably help yourself if you go before you go lol

I was wondering this myself the other day. I think it depends on how you go too- hanging would cause gravity to take effect (sucks for me) but drowning for example wouldn't. I suggest lots of fiber before you go.

You can use an enema beforehand. They work fast and are very, uh, thorough.

I'm worried about this too. all methods except N are risky in that regard imo

It's generally inevitable with more sudden and violent methods. Despite emptying the lower bowel, you probably have some idea just how long the bowel/intestine actually is. Although it's not going to be full in its entirety, there will be some that is yet to descend into the section that you can physically evacuate. When the body spasms, it often expels waste remaining inside the body. It's not uncommon for epileptics to experience a similar phenomenon.
To be perfectly honest, it's not something to concern yourself with. You won't be aware of it and the truth is that there's no such thing as a beautiful corpse. Death is far from pretty.
I had emergency surgery to remove part of my intestine after a section became necrotic. It had prevented anything from passing through me for weeks! Sometimes I think about what the poor surgeon had to endure, but this is just the natural way for a human body to behave. You won't have the first Idea.

You can just put some adult pampers to make it easier on the person that cleans you or the pathologist that will open your body to analyze it. Also, you can try to clean your whole stomach before fasting. There is procedures where they clean all those things inside and even pills teas etc that leave it neat. you will probably pee though you cant avoid that as body is mainly built of water but about the other thing yeah you probably can avoid it or at least make it less messy.

In my experience being with people as they die, yes, you will expel anything that's inside.

You're much more likely to pee than to poop. To be really gross, it depends on the consistency. You won't force out a solid BM, but if you have liquid or loose stools in your bowel, they'll probably make an appearance. Liquid is pretty sure to come out and there really isn't anything you can do about it. When your muscles relax, it will allow the liquid to flow out.

People from ambulance services and the coroner are used to this and it's just part of the job. You can wear a diaper but it's really not necessary. You won't be affected by it - you'll be gone. And if you're hoping to leave a pretty corpse, forget it. There's no such thing. It's also a dead giveaway that you planned to harm yourself if you're wearing a diaper.

I think it could well be messy- guess there's no way to know for sure- so, I'm intending to put thick plastic sheeting over everything and wear a diaper most likely. Plus- a bucket nearby for being sick into obviously. (SN method probably.)

That's my plan as well: thick plastic drop cloth (like what someone would use to protect their floors before painting the walls). I hadn't considered an adult diaper until now...hm. I might add that to the list.

Adult diapers aren't the best. I had to wear one after being injured for a bit

I would assume if you fasted and then did an enema beforehand there would be significantly less mess. It's probably unavoidable with certain methods and how long until you're found. If you're worried about inconveniencing others just put plastic down or something to make cleanup easy. If you're more just embarassed about it happening at all, it's natural so it's really no big deal but I get it. Just clear your guts and maybe don't die in a position where gravity will make things move along.

Who? If anything it's going to be a crime scene cleanup team, not the people who wronged you.

I must admit that this is one of my gravest concerns when it comes to death. Hopefully fasting 24-48h in advance would take care of it.

It's very likely it will happen.

I've been extremely unlucky to see somebody's corpse as a first person twice. Every time there were feces and urine underneath them, however there never was a lot of them - just a few drops. Maybe these were rare situations, I dunno but if this is normal then probably feces and urine we expell after death will not be a big deal.
