I was told if i joined one of the annoying ''go back to work preparation'' program I'd make an additional 130$ per month, in addition to my disability thing, but I wouldn't get my volunteering primes anymore, which would put me at about 1000$ a month instead of my current 950. Accepted mostly so I'd stop having that shit shoved down my throat constantly, hoping they'd maybe start helping me with mental health stuff instead of just workworkwokrworkworkwork did you know we have this work program, woworkworkworkworkwor we have program woorkworkworkworkworkworkworkowrkwo.
Instead, I lost the disability benefit and the rights to have the volunteering primes, so now I get 850 in total. I'm glad so I decided to do more effort and basically got conned into working a part time job, when I'm supposed to take it chill due to health issues. Nice. I'd like to thank my social worker who recommended this, I'm sure my well being was the main focus of this entire thing, and totally not to get the funding his organization gets for every idiot they scam into joining the program.

Remember kids, don't do any efforts, not only will you never get anything for it whatsoever, but you'll actively be punished for having done efforts in the first place ! Stay home and play videogames, the world is worthless and not worth your time.

TLDR: Was told by doctor to take it chill at home, got conned into basically working part time below minimum wage, whilst making less money i'd do staying at home doing nothing.

How does wellfar work in the states. I've never claimed that so don't understand how it works. Seems like it's a bit weird in that some get it and some don't. I England they get it for certain if they're out of work and have no savings or support. Obviously there's certain factors in there but they get a specific type of service/branch of welfare provision to suit their circumstances. Is US welfare based on previous payments into the system? Like if you worked for a period of time you get wellfare provision for a period of time to match that? Kinda like the way state pessions work.


What I'm wondering is whether you can appeal the decision. This should be a human right I think. They don't alwaya agree and it could take time but you might get arrears paid for that period of time and the tine they paid you the lower amount.

Living costs are at an all time high and I have friends and family in good jobs with what was good pay but they're really just wageslaving now. There's no money left over for recreation or savings. This is actually poverty. The numbers on the money mean nothing when they only afford you bare minimums at best. Coutries considered rich are populated by mostly poor people. (this is because industry and business have been allowed to push that 'morality is weak' ethos down their workers throats and creating aN oppressive dictatorship with unwritten subtex. It's so dirty and permiates society on many levels because that's where the workers come from. They come home from work, teach their kids what they learned, argue and compete with their peers, fuck their wives like they think they're pornstars and then return to the workplace full of the coolade with and extra hipflask full to keep the momentum).

What would happen if you closed your account and made a fresh claim in a week or two? You might say you decided to try and go it alone and use the pressure to push you into finding work in ways you might not otherwise consider. Unfortunately good intentions aren't guaranteed to work out so you failed after chasing a few leads up dead ends and now you're falling into the red even further. Maybe restarting a claim would at least return you to the 950 per month? I mean these are things/risks requiring lots of consideration and may be a bad idea so judge it all on individual merit.

If only we get the filth to try and work, because obviously, the unemployed subhumans have never tried that, then they'll realise they don't want to be lazy worthless shits anymore ! I couldn't agree more. Why be a slave to a society that treats us like shit and doesn't give a fuck about us? It's roughly enough to pay for rent and food. That's with me having no addiction, hobbies, friend, girlfriend, kid or other thing that would require money.
The basic welfare check is... i think like 650$ or something stupid. I had like 15$ a week for food for quite a while before i had disability. For some reason, the ''REEEE JUST GET A JOB'' people don't seem to understand that... if i can't even eat properly, i miggggggggggggggght not be able to even walk to the interview without passing out lol.

It does literally nothing to help me whatsoever, if anything it worsens my mental health due to all the added stress and constantly being treated like a circus freak by most clients and new staff.
