Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

Last night I went to start burning charcoal in a chimney starter outside, and the plan was to bring it inside and then put it in a tent outside and kill myself with monoxide poisoning. I had disabled the smoke detector as well as the monoxide detector. I don't live alone. But as I went to go start my attempt, everyone was supposed to be asleep. But randomly, one of the people I live with went looking for me at 4 am for some reason, and found my tent, the disabled detectors, and then found my chimney starter burning. And of course, instead of thinking suicide, they think i'm trying to burn the place down. After a little bit of finagling, I was able to convince some of them I was trying to make smores, but they're still suspicious of me. And even worse, instead of thinking i'm trying to kill myself, they think i'm trying to burn the place down and kill them. And they already took all my stuff like my charcoal and lighters and everything, and put them around the place, meaning I probably could not go for a second attempt without getting caught. My life has now become even worse as things have gotten even stricter. I don't really know what to do now, if I go for another or something else, or what.

Maybe just stop. Stop trying to ctb because this method while creative was bound to fail and pretty dangerous to others. You could see a doctor instead and deal with the condition head on

Good thing you managed to make up a good excuse at the very least. Just be patient and one day they'll forget about it and you'll carry the plan successfully. My recommendation could only be do it when you're alone not when they're asleep (big risk)

Goddamn dude. Suicide or not, they have a right to be pissed. You could have killed or caused serious injury to them or their property. I get wanting to leave this world but we all need to be thoughtful on our way out. The suicide alone will cause plenty of emotional damage, no need to add physical injury or property damage to them on top of that.

I hate to sound so critical and do wish you the best.

I'm sorry you got caught. This is super dangerous to do with other people around though. I might be wrong but you'd likely have better success doing this alone on a campground or in a hotel room
