Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

I might not even be alive to attend, I'm flip flopping between life and death, but, at least some good news. Due to covid shits going to be online and I hate that, I wanted to attend to meet people and what not, but in the mean time, some good fucking news.

I know what you mean, I almost don't want to go because of that, but at the same time, that's all I got. Stupid covid. Have you reconsidered? What are you studying?

Cool. I'm going for computer science as well. I was supposed to CTB today, so I'm not even sure I'll be alive for the first semester. Might see how it goes. Online classes scare the shit out of me. I can't wait till next fall I've been waiting forever to start this. I hope you get the chance to attend it's just a year before classes normalize and be presencial.

Congrats! First step to something bigger? I'd say give it a chance, it might not be as bad as you think. I studied online for a while some years ago and it wasnlt too bad. It's not the same, I know, but I still keep in touch with a couple people I met through those courses. If you don't like it, you can still leave when you have had enough.
Not saying you shouldn't give game design a go, but I did and gave up after one semester because it was too academic. It was the most boring thing I've ever studied, because it was all just theory and no practical studies at all. Pursued CS instead and love it. Programming especially was fun for me and that's the only way I can learn, by enjoying what I'm studying. Plus it gives you way more options in terms of future careers.
CONGRATULATIONS!
I hope you get to go. I hope you get to discover peers and professors and courses that inspire you and motivate you. I hope you discover your purpose and find a path to a happy future. I'm excited for the possibilities that await you, and I wish you all the best!

Thank you. This is lovely. I feel like a loser because I'm starting college at 33 but, this is all I've got. Thank you your comment is really uplifting.
