It's a bit shocking how fast this process happened. Yellowsouled posted on June 18th saying they were considering getting a gun, posted on June 19th saying they got their gun, then posted this on June 20th. They were just so ready to be done. Life is cruel.

Sen. Robert Kennedy, Sr. was killed with one shot to the head from a .22 revolver in 1968. I've read a .22 can kill you just as dead as any "handcannon". Comments from our gun experts?

Yes, a .22lr round can be lethal, but the amount of suffering before death (or even reliable death) is much more than a more powerful round and also depending on where one is hit, and whether or not they receive immediate medical attention among other factors. In short, yes a .22lr can kill, but reliably and smoothly, maybe not so much.
What do you think about a .357 Magnum? A shot to the head. Hollow point.
Good. That's what Bud Dwyer used, intraoral. Revolver 4" barrel. Worked perfectly. The video's around. Dont know what kind of cartridge. Shotgun is best, though. Also intraoral.
Too small. Way too iffy.

What kind of shotgun would you reccomend? Also I have a lot fo concerns about being able to aim the shotgun. Are there any handguns that are more user friendly for inexperienced gun users (and obviously are as painless as a shotgun with double ought/slugs)

It seems the weight has taken its final toll never really know what to say in these moment,, really all I can say is that I can only imagine what this Is like for you but my god your pain is genuinely noticed,, I plan to go out that way to,, plus Your list of burdens is staggering, years of fighting physical and mental battles the combination of chronic pain,,, unsupportive surroundings, and a frustrating healthcare system is a reliably brutal reality I fear,, whatever you do and for how long you've been battling,, It speaks volumes to your resilience that you endured for so long,,

and this world is what is weak.
