Have no option other than the vicious cycle of shelters, social workers and mental health professionals. Falling deeper into the bottomless pit.

Nice.

Seriously quasi-planning on it. I'm not wasting my prime years raising my head above water the standard way.

Honestly - and I hate to stoop to this level - but if anyone has a place to stay, I'd appreciate it if I could stay for a temporary amount of time (1-3 months). I have some ideas to get out of this rut, it's that I may never have the appropriate resources to enact them. My story is complicated.

Willing to travel anywhere in the U.S.

PM me if you're willing to make an offer.

It's getting cold as goddamned hell here too. It's too cold to kill yourself outside unless you plan on freezing to death. I was hoping for a warm hotel and some n or a fucking rope around the neck. Please God, give me the strength to get this done!!! Thanks bro!
Peace !

Nice.

In case you're interested in alternatives or just to get away from the whole situation to catch your breath, you can try and look into wwoofing. If you don't already know, it's a system for people to help out with some handy work in exchange for shelter and food at a farm.

Some places host people for a week or two, other places host for months on end.

No..

People do this for pleasure - travel out to see new places, learn new things, meet new people - and in stead of paying for accomodation and food with money, they just pay with some hours of work a day.

Also, it can be a really good environment to get your thoughts together. - Have a chance to think of where you want to be, research jobs, home, etc.

My social anxiety is really bad right now, I'm not in a good enough state to be involved in a social setting for an amount of time that consistent. I would, if I could, and if it was the only feasible option, but it just seems like something that would negatively impact my mental health right now. I'm not sure if I would have access to the types of medications and treatments that would help me through situations like that. I checked out some of the social media and it's quite intimidating.

I feel you, i had to prepare myself mentally just to pull the trash cans from the curb this afternoon...spent 10 minutes thinking about if neighbors were outside and what i was wearing all to just get trashcans from the curb

I can understand that.

Just to let you know, there are many hosts who can be very supportive with exactly that types of things if you read their descriptions on their profiles. Especially if you tell them this, they will find a way to make things work. In any case, I hope you find the best possible solution for you and stay safe!

I found something interesting related to that organization.

My WWOOFing experience was a nightmare. Here's why the organization needs to change.

Long hours of hard work and a feeling of being exploited are fairly common complaints among WWOOFers.

But when I was showed my room, that image of perfection started to fade away. For the next month, I slept in a wooden cabin on a moldy mattress with a pillow that gave me a constant sore throat and cough, both of which only went away after I left the ranch. I had to shower with freezing water while outside temperatures were just reaching 50°F. Instead of learning about organic farming – as promoted on WWOOF's and the ranch's websites — I was ordered to do the same monotone work day after day: plucking weeds. After finishing my 6-hour work shift, I mostly did nothing. The bicycles that were available for exploring could only be rented, and for a ridiculously high cost. The nearest village was at least three miles away. It felt like a prison.

It soon became obvious that the ranch volunteers who did the less exhausting work — like teach yoga or give English lessons — were more valued. They slept in much better conditions, showered with hot water, ate organic fruits and vegetables, home-made yoghurt, cheese and honey, and even visited the nearest town on several occasions because one of the workers from the ranch would offer to be their driver.

"Not only was the work brutal but when the owner of the farm left to go to Dublin to sell his goods, the wife would harass me and show me every little thing that I did even slightly wrong," David explained.

And David's experience of being humiliated for not performing a task correctly seems to be another common practice. Ian, also from the U.S., remembers a similar experience:

"I was given a run-through once in each task, then expected to perform at their practiced level, alone, each following time. I was given a quick run-down of farmer's market procedure literally minutes before we arrived to market, then shamed and scolded for needing to ask questions once it was actually happening. When I was anxious and having trouble with mental math, she mocked to a customer 'he used to be a computer science major."

That really sucks to be in that situation. Do you know if you could find some secluded place, like the woods or something to ctb? I know that death via hypothermia isn't pleasant but maybe there are ways to numb the pain and just fade into unconsciousness as your body's organs start to fail.
