Im sick and tired of people telling me to just push through it and I'll get through. A while ago someone unironically told me if I kept working I should have a normal life by 35 (I'm 22). How is that supposed to be motivating? My life is shit for my 20s and half of my 30s and that's just something I need to be okay with?

I feel like it's rare for me to meet another person who truly has a doomed life so no one can really empathize with me, they just see people on TedTalk who made it through their shitty circumstances and project it onto me. It's so frustrating I just want to be understood and have someone just tell me my life is shit and I didn't deserve it. Not have people deny how bad it is and cope for me.

An all-good (or at least just not straight up evil) deity, that is.

And I feel the same way, OP, I just want it to end. No "pushing-through", no "it gets worse before it gets better" bullshit, I don't even care if it would really get better.

It certainly is so tiring and irritating how so many people in this world continue to glorify suffering and force their toxic positivity onto others. Existence may be so valuable and worth enduring for them but not everyone should have to feel that way. I hate the view that some people hold that life must always be prolonged and people must continue to suffer, suicide should be accepted as being a rational solution to prevent unnecessary years spent here in this awful world, at least to me under no circumstances could existence ever be worth enduring.

Agree, because I see it as an absolute impossibility to be happier a year from now

Life fucking sucks. The worst, most painful things you will ever experience will happen while you're alive, but the opposite is true. The greatest things you will ever experience will happen while you're alive. If you believe in an afterlife, that's a different story, but I believe this is the only life you are guaranteed. You may live it however you want, but there will always be positive and negative effects.

I don't know if anyone necessarily "deserves" life. None of us decided to be born, but now that we are alive, we can experience life ourselves. Ideally, we should live in a way that minimizes harm to ourselves and those around us, but that's ultimately up to you.

Waiting 13 years to be happy isn't a great solution. However, what may help is addressing, analyzing, and breaking down everything in your life that is causing suffering. Are your basic needs being met? Have you consulted any mental health professionals? Many discourage seeking help from these people, but they are trained to help you.

From my previous experiences as a suicidal person, embracing my SI has always benefited me. It has always hurt the most up front, but I would take that over the constant pain from my depression.

This is good advice. Take a moment to assess what exactly is causing your issues in life, then decide how to solve those issues from there. If you need help, get help, this can be hard on your own. But no life is doomed until it's over.
