what should I say to get an amitriptyline/benzos prescription? does anyone know how much is needed? and if it will be effective enough on its own?

Do you have anxiety? My doctor is hesitant to prescribe Xanax, but other doctors are more lenient. I have a friend who has it prescribed after other SSRIs failed.

I think it depends from the country you live in.
1st appointment I was prescribed with xanax because I clearly showed signs of social anxiety.
