Ukraine is known to have a long history with Nazism, as West Ukraine worked together with Nazi Germany for a bit in World War 2, and the current ukrainian army is still full of Nazis.
Ukraine doesn't care about their regular citizens and Zelensky is willing to sacrifice them all in order to weaken Russia, which has been USA's goal for decades. So there is literally no reason to support their war effort.
Consequences? USA recruited Nazis after World War 2 into NATO, and is helping Israel commit the second Holocaust in Palestine, and you think there will be consequences for the ukrainian government blowing up the Nord Stream pipelines? Lmao.
1.The West started the war due to the coup that happend in 2014. The
cause of the conflict was NATO expansionism. The euromaidan coup of 2014 which essentially flipped Ukraine's government from a Russian-aligned one to an American-aligned one didn't happen in a vacuum, it was funded in large part by the Americans, and there is a leaked phone call from before the coup where the Americans can be heard discussing who would form the next government in Ukraine, like they were drafting a fantasy football team. Who they discussed did end up in power, and the people they talked about negatively did not. This suggests that they had a fairly heavy hand in the transition. After the coup, the Easter ukrainian population (mostly ethnic Russian, speaking Russian, etc.) wanted to secede and form their own state that remained Russian-aligned, and the new Western-backed government didn't want that to happen. So not only was Russia directly combating NATO expansionism, they were also trying to protect and liberate the Donbas region, which was not on board with the plan to align Ukraine with the West. This conflict has been going on since 2014, and there were two original diplomatic "solutions" which were attempted (Minsk 1 and 2). Notably, Ukraine did not uphold their side of either bargain. (Which is why they both failed, and why it's now a hot war)

ssia wasn't really left much of a choice. USA and NATO have, for a while, desperately wanted to exert their influence over Ukraine and ignored Russia's protests. So the options left to Russia were to either play ball and watch how another of their neighbours becomes a USA proxy or invade and try to secure a buffer. Had Ukrainian leadership remained neutral (or, at the very least, smart), Russia would have little reason to invade. Their politicians decided to try and join NATO, effectively calling Russia's bluff. Turns out it wasn't a bluff.

But the Soviet Union has been gone for over 30 years, so why is NATO still a thing? You're naive If you think that Russia wouldn't feel threatened by having a NATO member as a neighbour. Ukraine is a vassal state of western hegemony. How do you think USA would react if Russia supported Mexico? NATO is using Ukraine in order to weaken Russia. The US/NATO has been the most aggressive bloc destabilizing non-aligned/adversarial countries (Yugoslavia, Iraq x2, Libya, Afghanistan, Syrian civil war, capturing most Arab spring coups, Bolivia, among many other countries overthrown/invaded, sanctions on dozens of countries, massive military drills in South Korea and Taiwan to try to provoke conflict with North Korea and China, etc) not to mention debt trapping much of the developing world and owning large portions of their economies essentially recreating colonial economic relationships. The US/NATO is the biggest threat to world peace and also to communist and left wing governments in the world. Any country that undermines the military dominance of the US/NATO in the world is ultimately weakening the greatest barrier to communist movements in the world.

Germany has a historic responsibility towards Isreal and not acknowledging a terrorist state like the Hamas led Palestinia, who would love to wipe the Isrealian people and the jewish race off of the earth (and again, started the war back in October 2023), is part of this responsibility.
And yes, the Americans want to deploy weapons in our country, because we are allied to them. Germany being allied with another democracy isnt being a lapdog, its cooperation between 2 states of the free world. The Soviets never Denazified, in fact, 27 % of the members of the East German communist party were former NSDAP members, so once more, what are you talking about? Yes, the Westernes didnt denazify aswell in the beginning, and many got away unscathed, like you rightfully mentioned, but in the 60s investigations began and West Germany started to work up their National socialist past, this is why the Third Reich still plays such a big role in German history classes and German culture to this day. In East Germany, this never happened, the Nazi past was just hushed up and never worked up, the Nazis there never left or "changed their minds", like it happened in the West, they just stayed there for decades and hid and are still there today. This is one of the reasons far right parties are so strong in Eastern Germany now and not in the West.
And the reason why Nato still exists is on hand, its, once more, russian aggression, NATO members need to protect oneanother if they are attacked, this makes sure that tiny and relatively weak countries can still exist, still live out their way of lives without fearing that they are invaded by some authoritarian state, who wants to suppress them, how foolish can you be, man????
