I don't think you're understanding what I'm saying/I'm not explaining myself properly. My parents say "I have no reason to be depressed/nothing bad has happened" etc, when there does not need to be reason to have depression or commit suicide, depression doesn't discriminate and can happen to anyone and there are usually multiple factors.
I meant that suicide is not 'logical' in the aspect that as a species we are hard-wired to live and hence why we all have strong survival instinct, the body works to live. I do not think suicide is illogical, I am suicidal myself and I understand why someone would want things and I feel it everyday. I'm still here because of survival instinct. There is no two argument that I am creating, I am just saying I think mental health and suicide can often be oversimplified when there is a lot of factors to consider. I'm not saying I think suicide is illogical or that I don't understand why people commit suicide - I was in the hospital in November for overdosing on SN. However, a lot of people have gone through things I have gone through and will not have any mental health issues or attempt suicide. That was not a separate argument, it was adding to the original oversimplifying suicide/mental health point I was trying to make (obviously unsuccessfully).
dont mean to go off tangent but how did you survive from od'ing on SN?
