... and things only got worse than I could even imagine.
The reminder on my calendar from one year ago came and went. Back then, I was only passively (though growingly) suicidal and prone to fantasies of self-harm. I at least had some people around me, even if I didn't have anything I'd call true 'support'. I put that reminder on my phone and told myself that, if I found any little thread of hope by the time I saw it again in a year, I'd persist.
Here I am now: alone, futureless, rope in the closet.
