I'd like to make sure I'm not missing out on some masterpiece. There's some media that's just so good that it defies logic. The Road is an absolutely amazing book. The Last of Us 1 and 2 is probably the most incredible story ever told in a video game. When I Was Done Dying is my favorite music video. Can anyone recommend an amazing piece of media that I don't want to miss out on before I commit toaster bath? I mean the shit that'll make me cry, that could change my worldview. Sorry if this is a weird post. I've been in this situation of "I'd rather not kill myself, but soon won't have a choice". So I'd like to try and make the most of my last days. Thanks in advance ❤️

I highly recommend True Detective season 1 (8 episodes) by HBO, it's the greatest philosophical masterpiece I've ever seen, truly life-changing.

Also, The Sopranos (86 episodes), it's the greatest TV series ever made imo. If you have the time, do watch it, you'll absolutely love it.

if you're into satire, watch "drop dead gorgeous" its a dark comedy mockumentary about a high school beauty pageant in rural minnesota. it is hilarious and also very dark. kirstie alley plays the villian. priceless.

Personally, I like anime. Some of the ones that are the most memorable are Death Parade, Angel Beats and Natsume Yuujinchou. I plan to rewatch them at some point.
My favourite song is Funeral Cry by Dark Sanctuary. I listen to it every day and I can relate to the lyrics a lot.

Pretty nice suggestions, seems like you lined up a whole year of happy times for OP, she gets hooked on some of these games, it will be hard to CTB until she's completed all story and side quests.

GTA IV and RDR 1 and 2 are simply my all time favourites, I still play them sometimes after smoking a joint.

Skyrim is mine, recently started playing it again lol. All in all I must have at least 3k or 4k hours in Skyrim. I really like Hitman's gameplay/concept/coolness but I fucked up by almost 100%ing 1 and then when I started playing 2 (actually 1 again) my motivation was zapped, partially due to the graphics/engine being slightly different than the real 1, which activated my autism. When I was 11,12,13,14, I played CoD and/or Minecraft every day after school with a friend.

You have good taste in games, ohh how I look back at my past gameplay memories with longing, back then I had suicidal thoughts but skyrim gave me hours of addictive gameplay, I loved it and would play for 3-4 hours daily on my xbox 360. I would sometimes play it till 6am and then sleep because I was exhausted, only to wake up at lunchtime filled with existential dread.

I also used to play COD black ops 3 on PS4 with 3 of my cousins, split screen on the same TV, how much joy and laughter and yet so much sadness I feel recalling these memories, knowing full well I can't have them back because I'm going to CTB this month or the next.
Games don't make me feel good anymore, I have ineradicable sorrow in my heart that will only end with my death.

What I wouldn't give to have my xbox 360 with me and play GTA IV and RDR1 one last time, but I know it won't make me feel good, depression has killed me from the inside.

freaky because your thing with hitman happened to me except in reverse, i played 2 and got really really obsessed with it like, i'd wake up and immediately turn it on. then my playstation broke and i decided to check out codename 47 and my eyes couldn't handle it. for some reason my eyes can't handle certain games like, i couldn't play fallout new vegas for a while and when i tried to get through it i had to take breaks in between gameplay just so i could adjust my vision lol

I actually listen to Joe Pera every single night. Only thing that helps me get to sleep. Watching him while tripping is hypnotic.
