Help game recs?

just wanna kill some time until i ctb. i basically spent the entire past month playing a ton of chess and some minecraft. tried going back to stardew valley at one point but i got super stressed out lol. i have a nintendo switch, a pc that is an absolute potato, and a laptop that i use in my bed. highly considering renewing my nintendo switch online subscription just for tetris 99 and splatoon 2, haven't touched it in a hot minute.

any suggestions? :,D something that requires just enough concentration to not get bored but also not something that requires a ton of brainpower

Saihate Station (free) 2hours playtime, Visual novel, solid story
Omori (only if never got spoiled?) 20h-30h playtime, rpg, deep story that might make u insane

i like the sims! the sims 3 is the best, but you have to buy it, and it can be laggy depending on your computer. i think the sims 4 is free, but the base game isn't as interesting, you'll want to pirate or buy the expansion packs. be warned that the game uses more storage than you'd expect, but i still think it's fun :)

also i love trying random free games on itch.io, there are some really amazing ones on there

ive been playing honkai star rail a lot recently, if youre a gambling addict then go for it! its a space themed RPG ^^

I've been playing crab champions. Its $10 on steam and is an action rogue like made by the creator of the crab rave song. It requires some thought on builds, but is relatively fun

that Luanti thing is like an open-source version of minecraft but i think it has some lua scripting integrated in so it might be kind of like minecraft and roblox now..

for switch you need to try Fantasy Life.. it is beyond epic in my opinion.. it is like a mix between animal crossing and rune factory and it is high quality and so much stuff to do on there.. made by Level5 (japanese company)..

there is also a cute farm game i liked called Picontier.. i played it on switch.. it is a small cheap game but it is fun and well thought-out for what it is.. (also made by a small japanese company)..

i'm a honkai star rail fan too :) if you end up liking gacha games i think it's a pretty good one and relatively more straightforward than some other ones. if you're feeling silly i think the cookie run kingdom gacha game is fun sometimes too!
other gacha game (lol): livly island, you decorate a little "island"/home and avatar and have little virtual pets. super simple "gameplay" and very low effort.
i've also been trying the persona 5 phantom x gacha game lately, i think it's fun and doesn't require too much brainpower ^^
if you want to play a non-gacha game, i think some fun and silly ones are untitled goose game, thief simulator, powerwash simulator 2 (i only tried the demo for this tho), and most definitely goat simulator 3. it's really cathartic to destroy things as a goat and be a menace to human society :D

Idk if u can play them on ur switch, but I rlly loved the older Lego Star Wars games, so I can recommend them

Stray cat doors... the second is my favorite. the artstyle is pretty, the puzzles aren't that difficult and the soundtracks are calming. Good for distraction <3
