I see some people around here don't want a funeral. I've thought about it and I would like to have one so that the people who knew me can see how "well" I was doing. You're supposed to sit there and think about everything.

It would be preferable that they cremate me as this body deserves nothing more than to be set on fire. It's not even good enough to be worm food.

If I should die I'd rather cremation but that's not going to happen. It'll be a masquerade and they'll day how I lose my soul. Hypocrites will cry and my real friends will shame fight people in the crowd. Some won't even come at all. It's a waste of time.

Nope just want to be forgotten. But if l had to pick, it would be so metal to go out with a sky burial. I don't recommend looking it up unless you want to see images of human remains.

A sky burial(actual term is jhator) is where they leave you out on a mountaintop for vultures or other animals to eat. So at least my corpse will be useful. I personally find funerals to be expensive and wasteful, but no shame to people that want a funeral.

I watched a documentary on that years back. Really fascinating to see the vultures skeletonize the corpses.
Funeral homes take advantage of loved ones at their lowest point.

No, I do not want a funeral. I would just like to be forgotten about, like I never existed. My life and death are both so meaningless and insignificant. However, I guess that it would not matter what others would do after my death as after all, I will not be there to see it. By that point, I will be gone, free from my suffering and in the nothingness where I belong.

I looked this up, and it was possible to pre-plan a non-funeral cremation for $5k or so, which is also the cheapest option by far. But I don't want to bother with the outlay just to enforce my desire to quietly disappear. I plan on making a verbal request, but in truth they can (and will) do whatever they like.
