In everyone's opinion, what are the pros and cons of full vs partial suspension. I cant decide. Also type of rope and placement of knot . Thanks

I'm no expert nor did I do some testing. Partial can be pulled of at more locations, less painful but has a higher chance of failure because it is much easier to abort.
Full suspension is pretty much a sure thing so long as the rope is strong, but there is the risk of a slightly longer and more painful ordeal by strangulation.
Static rope is recommended since it doesn't stretch much and also strong.
