This is sort of what
@SlowMo and I were discussing. It would work sort of like a secret santa deal. We're working on naming it.
We are taking a list of names of folks who want to be a part of it. Maybe everyone participating vote 1 person to draw names. 1/2 the names would be kept out and 1/2 would be put into a bucket, hat something. The person drawing names would grab 1 name from the left out of bucket- pull a name from bucket and those 2 people are matched. Process completes until all names are matched.
Everyone participating can choose lets draw names once a month or bi weekly whatever. Doing it this way- people are matched together who may never have talked before. They may find a new friend, support person, may have things in common. Than again they may have nothing in common and just say hi good luck wish you happiness. When we decide to draw names again- say in a month they may be matched with someone they develop a great friendship with. It's a good way to get people interacting with those they normally wouldn't, for people who don't reach out in pm's it will help them to do so and hopefully- most will find a new friend.

If you are in recovery, not sure if you are or you want to ctb you are welcome to join. It's about forming new friendships, someone to help support you, to talk to someone when your're having a bad day or a good day, a way to share information mostly about recovery and helping eachother.
