A worrying letter. According to revelations from the Canard Enchaîné , recent instructions from the Ministry of Health invite the country's various regional health agencies to prepare for a possible "major (military) engagement" by France by March 2026.

According to this document, dated July 18, 2025, France could become the rear base for a large-scale conflict in the coming months. It must therefore be ready to welcome hundreds of thousands of wounded French and foreign soldiers . The creation of medical centers near ports or airports in order to be able to "reroute" soldiers "to their home nation" is therefore being considered by the Ministry of Health.

Training aimed at raising awareness among caregivers "of the constraints of a time of war marked by the scarcity of resources, the increase in needs and the occurrence of possible feedback on our territory", as well as the management of " post-traumatic disorders and the physical medicine and rehabilitation sector", are also mentioned. Caregivers are also called upon to join the Army Health Service "regardless of their sector of practice".
