I've asked this question before but just wanted to check again… anyone been to the Forth Road bridge recently and know what the situation is with the suicide barriers there? In England and it would be hard for me to go up to Scotland and check myself so hoping some one here might be able to comment.

Heard recently that the Forth Road bridge has now has suicide barriers installed and have been trying to confirm this with someone. Has anyone else been past there recently?

You could try Google maps or the bridges website if they have one
Hey Thank you Google Maps is not showing suicide barriers on the bridge but might just be that they need to update image.

Hoping someone who lives around there or who has been recently might be able to say?

get on twitter and search for recent pictures. not exactly sure what degree of 'barrier' you're talking about but i imagine there would be some up to date photos over there

Won't keep posting indefinitley… but just to put it out there that if anyone knows anything info would be very very much appreciated over here.

They used to have railings that were quite low making it a good suicide bridge. From what I've heard they have now created a higher barrier on at least one side, presumably to make it harder to climb, but don't know if there is one on the other side.
