Regarding loose ends. If I have a car I am still paying on monthly to a local used car lot, and have no cosigner's or "beneficiaries" in my will, would the place just come and repossess it leave it that after they are informed I've died? I am trying not to leave any trouble for the people in my life to deal with, but didn't know how exactly to call the car lot office to ask how they handle repossession if I were to die.. can't imagine that going over well or smoothly.
Also, regarding cremation. Does anyone call and prepay for cremation so the folks in your life don't have to deal with any of that? I don't have family and would be leaving a written will stating I do not want any sort of grave or cemetery spot or even a funeral service, just the cheap $1000 cremation and if a friend of mine wants to put my ashes in the ocean when they can that's great, if not that's fine too.
I just don't want to leave them with anything to deal with, but worry if I call the local funeral home regarding prepaying for cremation they will suspect suicide and call psych on me to be taken in or something. Not anyone I can really ask for advice on these odd formalities without arousing suspicion so I appreciate any response greatly
