I dont get religious people, more importantly it's insulting that they only accept you when you are good at praying. Im fed up talking to my mother everytime she throw a tantrum about it, it's not like the one going to hell is her anyway. It's like a prequisite to be loved or accepted for them that i have to conform to their ideas. Im tired im tired why did you even give birth to me anyway

I absolutely cannot stand forced religion - Its one thing if you want to have your own beliefs, but why on earth would you force that on others? So cult like.
Hope you're okay!

I cant stand them either, at this point i'm thinking maybe if i fake it, it would be better, at least until i can be a bit independent. It's just disheartening especially when every topics just go back to religion for her. Sick of it.

I don't understand die hard religious people. I feel like if there is a god they would know so much more than the people who follow that religion. A god would know mistakes happen and would love regardless of them following them or not. I feel like if there's a greater force judging people, that judgement would be lenient. We don't choose what happens to us that lead us to other things and so on…

Life is life and hard and has been since the beginning.

I am the last person on earth who would support organized religion. Religion is truly child grooming. You tell a kid to believe in a God that you yourself have never seen. Then you tell the kid to abide by some damn bronze age rules, written in a book created and edited by men. You tell the kid to listen to a religious leader, as he or she is gonna teach you about God. Then for the grand finale, you tell the kid to obey or else they will suffer for all eternity, toasting in hell. If God is perfect, all powerful, and never makes an error....then are gays, lesbians, trans sexuals, bisexuals mistakes of the all powerful God? Then you have my favorite sand nutcase religions when if your gay they throw you off a five story building.Of course you have the little darlings who brought you the Spanish Inquisition. Burning people at the stake, torturing people to death, all to save your soul. (Religious nutcases are dangerous lunatics!) Although I don't care for Nazism, or Communism.......... those regimes actually did one thing right. It gives me joy to think how many pious MFers in those camps, prayed with the up most desperation and piety....only to be terminated. Piousness cannot save you from hanging, gassing, shooting, torture, bombs, and poison gas. So prostrate yourselves to your God and croak anyway! You would think with all the gods humans have created, and how many pious and holy people have been killed, that people would have grave doubts when it comes to a God! How many of the aforementioned religious nutcases have been unmasked as child molesters, or were caught with kiddy porn on their most holy and pious computers? Pious religious nutcases, PLEASE! Ever notice that each brand of religion proclaims they and they alone know the answers and all others are wrong? Then we have some really sweet cults, Jim Jones, heavens gate, the solar temple, David Koresh.....there is even one group of religious nutcases who hand around venomous snakes and during poison, believing that your faith will protect you. When members of that particular nutcase religion die from a snake bite or ingesting poison, the other cult members blame it in the deceased lack of faith.🤔😲 Pious religious nutcases! Idiots!😤

I literally do not talk to several family members for reasons including this. Anytime that the topic of my depression comes up I am greeted with repetitive platitudes that quite frankly are outright offensive considering how much i have been through and then I am reminded that god is good and "it'll be okay". It's times like these where I feel like doing something terribly drastic to rid myself of this horrible curse. I just wish that certain people in my family would give it a rest with this useless repetition. It is an extremely insane notion that somewhere out there, the devil has been pulling strings all my life to make me miserable and that I need to let got in to fix it. I went along with all of this for years when I was younger! Guess what? I have seen no benefit from putting my faith in god. On top of this, god seems to despise everything that I am according a large chunk of America's population.

Yeah, it's the opposite for me. I'm a converted Catholic, from a semi supportive Protestant family, my husband was raised Catholic, but is largely agnostic, though he enjoys arguing about it. I would like him to come back into the church, but that's ultimately his decision. I can't decide for him. During arguments he accuses me of hypocrisy and not actually knowing enough about my religion to warrant trying to talk to him about it. It's very depressing and demoralizing. Often I wonder if I should just clam up about it.

And this isn't an invitation to debate me, please. Believe what you wish, that's between you and God.

I was a Christian convert for three years until I stumbled onto the "prison planet/matrix" ideology, and it answered so many questions I had about religion.

Christianity made my life a living hell.

I have dwelled among Roman Catholics, Eastern Orthodox Christians, and now Muslims, and have seen so many conflicting testimonies, that it is clear to me that the source of these religions is intentionally spreading dissonance and division between not only unbelievers and believers, but among all of the believers themselves.

Grew up catholic and eventually started to question it all as it never made sense. During church I would fake praying lol. I'm a man of science and math, prove to me your belief is factual. If I'm wrong and when I die I am to be "judged" this so called omnipotent being will get an earful from me on how much of an asshole he/she/it is.

This benevolent and omnipotent idea of a god is confounding to me because the last time I checked, on this planet, when a (F)ather abuses, or lets their children suffer, we put them in jail.

You will have to stand in line! I have complaints about my size hair and eye color, and not being able to incarnate into an uber rich family....... So after I read my list of complaints...then it's your turn!
