Why or why not? I had a hotel in mind but there was a review where a maid, etc came in the room unannounced and another review saying they didn't get the room they wanted. There's only one room or type where hanging would work in this place. Other hotels don't have a similar setup.

This shouldn't be so fucking difficult.

I think hanging in a hotel is difficult but not impossible. The thing is to find something which can endure your weight. If your plan is partial hanging, the hotel room's wardrobe should have a strong enough metal bar (the one you hang your clothes on) so as for your to CTB.
And about the maids, just do it during midnight, they won't disturb then.

Edit: As for me, I'd get enough money so as to try more than 1 hotel. I think sooner or later I'd find the ideal room so my answer to your title question is "yes, i would."

Yeah I thought about multiple hotels lol. Would one night bookings be good or two nights?

I think two nights is the best option because if you only book one, you might be found out too soon and then "saved"

These famous people did it at a hotel room:

Michael Hutchence
Chris Cornell
Anthony Bourdain
David Carradine (accidental)
Lyle Stevik

Hotel....Yeah ,why not .
People do it in hotels . Whatever/wherever feels right to you is all that matters.
As 'WornOutLife' said ,booking two nights might be best.

Multiple 2 nighters until I find the right hotel will be costly

I would prefer to die in my own home - however no one will notice I am missing until my corpse starts rotting and smelling. Apparently the smell of rotting corpse is impossible to get out of a house and I don't want that to reduce the resale value of my house because it's my only asset and I want my nephews to get money out if it. So in my case, a hotel is an option to at least guarantee being found soon after death,

hotel or forest?
i dont know what is better...
i found a hotel which has a possibility as an good anchor point but i dont feel good to know that the hotel will be lose good rating :/
and of course maybe convulsion or panic makes noises.
but in the forest its hard to find a good place, here is no "deep" forest, only very many little areas.

and i dont know how i could go to there. taxi? in the middle of the night to a lost place? could be strange. as soon as my family notices that i am gone, they will call the police and a big search action starts. i have no much time...

so difficult to go :/

I think i don't like the idea of having so many people around you in a hotel, but thinking about it it's actually pretty good for privacy out of family.

My preference is a hotel for a two night stay. That way my family won't find me.

I'd block the peep hole since hotel have tools to look in on you. Maybe block the door.

I have rope already tested and measured. I will bring a portable chin up bar that attaches to the door frame of the bathroom . I have small stool that fits into my bag that I would use to raise me to put the nose on

Then I step off.

I will be doing full suspension in the woods. I like the idea of dying in nature, the last thing I see being beautiful. And I will be going deep into the woods so it is unlikely I will be found by unwilling people. Most likely the people in my life will report me missing and because of my suicidal history a search and rescue will be initiated quickly and they will eventually find me. I'll probably leave a delayed message to police about 48 hours after with my location in case they haven't found me yet.

Yes it is absolutly possible in a hotel, the way i tried before is not using the pole in the wardrobe but on the end of the rope (not the neck end) i tied a knot and hung it over the window and closed it. i was following the robin williams approach but did pass out for how long i dont know but then i woke up and auto pilot kicked in, as for full suspension then i'd imagine the hotel room wouldnt be high enough and probably nothing to attach a rope to.

Why should one do this in a hotel room? Is there any reason for it? I think you should have enough possibilities at home if you live alone
