• Hey Guest,

An update on the OFCOM situation: As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. OFCOM, the UK’s communications regulator, has singled out our community, demanding compliance with their Online Safety Act despite our minimal UK presence. This is a blatant overreach, and they have been sending letters pressuring us to comply with their censorship agenda.

Our platform is already blocked by many UK ISPs, yet they continue their attempts to stifle free speech. Standing up to this kind of regulatory overreach requires lots of resources to maintain our infrastructure and fight back against these unjust demands. If you value our community and want to support us during this time, we would greatly appreciate any and all donations.

What will you use and why? I've decided over the door, holding the ligature on the other side with weights could work well, but is a belt best, a rope. What's the best method for success?

alright, so...partial is my preferred method, i've been puting alot of thought in it...

i'm using a polyester 12mm braided rope, because its confortable, and you dont need any padding with it.

i'm using a slip knot, as its the appropiate one for partial, since it squeezes tigher with weight, and a snuggle hitch for the anchor point.

i'm using my wardrobe hanger pole but, since im paranoid about it breaking, i added support beneath it.

heres a picture:

Setup

theres also alot of helpful guides on the sticky threads.

hi, sorry the question might be dumb, but how does this work exactly? do you sit down and lean forward until you pass out, or how do you plan on doing it using this wardrobe?

no such thing as dumb questions!

so the way it works varies on position preference but, as you can see in the picture, the rope's quite long, which might give the wrong impression here. i just bought extra rope to be sure i'do have plenty to work with, if i needed for some reason but, for this setup i wont be using all of it.

i'll set up the slip knot around my neck, tilting my head back by looking upwards, then i'll position the knot just under the adams apple, and squeeze in the knot with my hands as tight as i can first (without blocking my airway), and finally, slowly bending my knees and leaning foward, leting gravity do the rest.

now... as to the position where one places the knot around the neck, if its right under the jaw line, or abit lower etc, this changes on personal preference, and acording to how the person managed to achieve carotid compression more easly. it varies from person to person, the only way to figure it out is by doing some testing but, it can get tricky and especially very risky so, please be very careful with it, as you might just CTB by accident/before you meant to.

i'do suggest taking some time to research this further, as you can find lots of partial hanging guides under the sticky threads or by using the search function.

Thank you so much for being so thorough and explaining this so well to me!! Would you mind if I DM and make you a few more questions regarding my setup? Would genuinely appreciate it since it seems like we have a similar situation :D

Excuse my stupidity, but won't leaning forward slide the rope more sideways, thus messing with the perfect position under the adam's apple?

Don't think that should be an issue if the rope is tight enough or they have some sort of socks around their neck
