Partial suspension is my method of choice (long story short).

For those of you who have tried and lose consciousness - please give me all the details. What material did you use? Kind of knot? Where did you place the knot? What position were you in? For example, were you on your knees? Etc.

I'm considering using one of those dog leashes that tightens when you put pressure on it, but I need some other ideas. Please let me know if you can think of anything else that tightens as you apply pressure.

did on my first hanging attempt. Rope loosend from Support didn't tie it off good cuz I was drunk. I was using 10mm nylon rope. Used a t-shirt as padding around my neck. Used a simple noose. I was just standing and dropped my weight by bending knees. Knot was on the back of neck.

A slip lead. This is what I'm going to use for partial. I had a trial today. The O ring pinches pretty bad on the neck. Next time I'm trying it with the O ring at the back of the neck rather than side.

I used a bungee cord and plastic bags for padding, lost consciousness but returned to consciousness very quickly, I did this twice, then gave up thinking a bungee cord is the wrong thing to use. A rope with the thickness of a bungee cord might be good. I have been trying with a belt but it just feels horrible and I have to abort each time before I lose consciousness. I found a slightly elastic thin rope that I am going to try.
