I was planning on doing the carbon monoxide from coal method tonight and don't even know if pictures are allowed here , but wanted to know if the amount of coal in the picture below could be enough ...... ( the coal collection has a depth of 8cm.

I've already made a small moderately air insulated strong plastic tent -ish (2m X 1.2m) in my room to increase the amount that i would inhale in addition to having to seal the window and door of my room. I think I've finished everything regarding material possessions transfer , made signs from the inside so that people would know. I was also thinking of having to stay awake for 2 hours while having to take excedrin pm to possibly fall asleep after.

Light it outdoors and let it burn off for an hour till its not smoking, is grey/glowing a bit. Then its ready to take indoors.
If you ignore that prep and light it indoors you will fail.

Just about to start , thanks.I'll make sure it's glowing a bit and smoke is out. guess I'll know by tomorrow if this really works.

The plan is legit and it works perfectly, unfortunately ....I got pulled out of my room as soon as i was unconscious (I think ). but the method was really solid and it only only took me 30 minutes to loose consciousness. Don't exactly remember what happened after the point where My heart was beating really fast and my survival instinct was activated big time , I almost tried to open the door but i was really dizzy and some part of me kept fighting to stay inside. Anyways, It was the scariest thing I've ever had to pass through, not a really painless way to go out unless sedatives are in place....

wait how did you upload images on your post, I can't do that (although i'm on mobile so that could explain why)

There's an "upload a file" menu bar next to the "post" bar , and yeah , probably because you're on your phone

Damn, really thought you were gonna make it, welcome back. By "pulled out" did you mean someone got wind of your attempt or survival instincts forced you to get out?

Thanks for sharing these, this is how I'm planning to go as well. So it's not that painless... can you describe how you felt?

well, in the beginning .... I felt a small annoying sensation of smell right after I put down the charcoal holder.
15-20 minutes later , I felt a bit dizzy and felt like a headache was brewing up.
20- 25 minutes later , I started to feel a bit confused and felt really tired , as if I couldn't get up at all. I also heard a buzzing frequency.
25- 35 minutes later , I started to get really confused , and that's when my survival instinct kicked in ...... I felt like I was suffocating , the exact feeling you get when you're trying to breath with a plastic bag mask on your face mixed with a feeling of being half stuck in a small space. my survival instinct made me want to open the door , but i kept fighting to stay in until I didn't have a choice anymore ( got too tired).

the feeling I experienced right before I got unconscious was really scary though , It felt like I was suffocating forever , and my ears were buzzing really hard, my body shaking to some extent, and I was loosing energy while all this was happening.

After 40 or so minutes later - I don't remember what happened. my mom unexpectedly came to ask for something (knocked on the door). and when i wasn't replying , she called help and they burst the door open and they put 4 buckets of water on me for me to get conscious again. I heard them talking , I was frozen where I laid down.

It's a bit embarrassing really , especially having to see mom like that. but I haven't spoken a word since then. I fear that a permanent brain damage might be on it's way. and I don't know what to do.

I hope everything settles down soon. Another hour or two maybe, you would have made it already. So it should have been successful, survival instinct and all, if only you weren't found. It sucks that you were interrupted, I hope you got away with it with just a mild headache. Are you still going to attempt again?

Yeah ,I also guessed an hour or two being enough too... and physically, yes ....just an average headache , huge loss of energy (still on the bed i was on yesterday), and I also expect in some brain part deterioration. psychologically though , It's a mess. i don't even know how to describe it.

and I'm not sure if I can do CO again , Everyone around me is more alert to the method now, and I can't do it any other place than home.(country not suitable , to go out in a tent or so). also, I don't think i would want to go through all that feeling without having a strong sedative.

Really sorry for what you're going through. Doing it at home where everyone is at really is quite the gamble. Some other method is probably better or maybe it's just the timing. I also hope your symptoms are just mild, maybe it will get better in a few days.

So I'm not very smart but when it comes to carbon monoxide why don't you use the car exhaust method or water pump method

That's a thread from 2018 ^^. You'd need a very old car produced not later than the 80's of the past century.Car exhaust also contains other unpleasant emissions, CO with charcoal is much better. See the respective megathread and use the search function please.
