Discussion For fun: If you were reincarnated, what would you like your life to be like?

This isn't an "I don't believe in reincarnation" thread. This is just a hypothetical question.

Say you got to the Afterlife and they say you have to reincarnate. It may be sad news, but you get to choose exactly what you look like and what your life is like.

For example, if you want to be a 5' red headed cutie pie born in Azerbaijan, then so be it! If you want to be a curly haired overall wearing fingernail model covered completely in tattoos from Amsterdam, have at it! You can do anything! (Within worldly limits though.) Dont think about too much. This is just a happy little writing prompt.

What would you want your life to look like? What do you want to do/be? Where do you want to live/grow up?

I want to live by the coast in a warm country and be able to surf. Always wanted to surf. Lots of beach bbq's, lots of cold beer and no money worries. I think I could be content with that kind of life.

Is it possible to choose to be an animal? If so I would choose to be reincarnated as a bear. Probably a black bear or a sun bear haha. Mother bears love their children very much. They nuture and care for them with ever fiber of their being. I'm sure they don't call their kids names and make them feel bad. That's all I ever wanted from my mom and it would be good to experience it first hand.

It doesn't matter, I would want to kill myself again. Living for hedonism is worthless, and so is being alive. This world has little to offer. If it's possible, I would want, at least as a human being, to die for the rest of eternity. If I still exist after death I would stay in "ethereal" form forever (as in, not with a living body).

A singer in a girl group! First as a teen group where I could pick out all my clothes/makeup to match my personality. I get to chose a song off the album. The song I would write and lead in would be inspired by my happiest memories. Then I'd transition into a young adult singer where a lot would be club and party songs with a mix of my innocent childhood/teen songs. My outfits would be more grown up and sexy but still have a playful fun side to them. These songs would be inspired by lots of fun fantasy and innocent imagination and hint of sexy vibes!

I would come back as an animal, so I would function on a basic survival level only- no awareness of lack of love, no emotions like sadness, no grieving for lost partners or family members, etc. Also, if I were a wild animal, like a Cheetah or Leopard in Africa, I wouldn't have as long of a life or be forced to go to a doctor if I got sick or injured. I'd be allowed to die naturally.
If I had to be human, I would wish to have musical and vocal abilities. I love music and singing, but I suck at it. I just do it for fun. I would also have to wish for more patience in my reincarnated life because that's one reason why I couldn't learn to play the piano in this life.
I lost patience and got bored with it very quickly.

yesss. I would want a fun life. I would imagine myself in a tour bus travelling the world, meeting people, singing and dancing with friends/others. Having fun while making others happy. Sounds like an amazing life. I wouldn't even ask for money for it as long as the expenses were covered already. It would be for the fun of it no money involved

While I don't believe in reincarnation, I'll answer as if I did. If I were to be reincarnated, I would like to be born as someone without Aspergers or autism and probably someone who is really musically gifted (perfect pitch, able to sight read effectively, and almost like a prodigy).

probably someone with a good looking and at least not terribly ill body, then i want to be remembered as a great artist, doesn't matter if it's in music, literature, plastic arts or even as an entertainer. i don't really know about when or where to be born, probably at any time in the previous century since i don't want to live without some of today's technologies but not so far into the future, maybe an european country?. the gender doesn't matter as long as i'm good looking.

this may sound weird, but i also want some level of tragedy in my reincarnation, of course not as bad as in this life. i honestly believe that you can't have empathy for others if you haven't experienced something bad or terrible in your life, and i don't want to live as a sociopath who had everything in their lives and look down on others, i despise that kind of people.

i feel like i would still reach the conclusion that this life is pointless and die by suicide, but i really want to live a good life and be remembered as very talented and influential.
