With any mood imbalance, I lose my appetite completely, so very often the thought of any food makes me feel worse.

However, there seems to be some kind of exception for soft sugary things, so maybe ice cream.

My appetite is generally very poor but on occasion, I find that my brain will switch gears from "Caffeine and nicotine mode" to "Eat all the food mode" as a coping mechanism. It doesn't happen at will but when it happens I am glad because it can not be healthy how consistently I skip eating. Some of my favorites when I am in a food loving phase are burgers, chicken quesadillas, migas, donuts, and milkshakes :)

Anything sweet. I love donuts and ice cream in particular. They don't take the depression away, but they do make life a little more tolerable.

Some of my favorite memories are when I have improvised and it worked. I have improved baked goods this way and even got lucky recently with an alfredo dish, though it's hard to screw that up.

I'll go for midnight walks when I can't handle being myself and pick up two of these. They're 2/4$ at a nearby 711, but they've managed to put a decently sized dent in my bank account. I got a ton of 711 points though.

Lofthouse cookies? Mmm those things are like crack. Always zero in on them during catered banquets because they're ALWAYS at the dessert table.
